Wandering down a road in Abijan, Ivory Coast, my friend and I came upon this scene - the local laundromat. Looking at the water, it seems unlikely that the clothes would emerge any cleaner after washing. Nearby were grassy slopes on which the wet clothes were laid out to dry in the sun.
