In late 1996 / early 1997, I visited a friend who was a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal, West Africa. Casamance is the region of Senegal that lies near the coast in the south of the country. It has a more tropical climate than the rest of Senegal, which is mostly arid. This photo was taken with a Nikon FG, the negative later scanned.
