Likir is a village in Ladakh, which I visited in 1999. Likir marked the starting point of a three-day trek that took me and my friends through several villages. The family in this house kindly put three of us up for the night. This little boy was both shy and curious. His grandfather (or great-grandfather?) sits in the background.
